In addition to being a famous comedian, Najib Amhali is also an ambassador for the food banks. He is enthusiastic about Soupalicious and said: 'Everyone should buy this soup!'
In 2017, Mary-Ann Schreurs was a local counsellor responsible for innovation at the municipality of Eindhoven. On behalf of the city she represented, which purchases all the Soupalicious soups, she donated the first 40,000 bowls of soup to the local food bank and splendidly described Soupalicious as 'the ultimate innovation project'.
Whenever you buy a bowl of Soupalicious, you are donating a bowl of soup to your local food bank. Together with our customers we provide around 2500 bowls of soup daily to people who cannot afford it. And that is just the beginning. Our mission is to grow to 30.000 bowls per day, because then every food bank customer will receive a litre of delicious soup made from high-quality leftover vegetables.

We believe in chilled, lightly pasteurised soup to retain both flavour and vitamins. Soups with excellent shelf lives thanks to our hot-fill method.

We adapt our recipes to the seasons. Fresh from the land and into the pot. Local ingredients are just as delicious.

One third of all food that is produced ends up where it started: in the ground. Or in the biogas digester, or as animal feed. As long as there are people living in hunger, food waste is madness. But the beautiful thing about this kind of madness is that you can eat the problem. How? Simple. We prepare all of our food bank soups entirely from rescued vegetables. That’s how madness turns into healthy, delicious soup. More than 3 million bowls served and counting… How do we rescue vegetables?
